Lon CANNOT trot out a lineup of Shep, James, Odomes, Doolittle and Lattin.

That lineup does not have enough offense to even hold down the fort for 2-3 minutes. I'd have both James and McGusty out there with Shep, and I'd probably make sure McNeace was in the game too. We might be able to rest TY another minute or two a game if we'd be smart about who we played while he was out.
