If you were a coach and you could hire either John Onjes or Crystal Robinson as an assistant coach, which one would you choose?

Crystal Robinson. Oklahoma Grown and a great recruiter. Helping TCU
move in the right direction.

Ontjes. The man has done a remarkable job at Hutch Juco. I grew up in Ark City during ACJC's heyday of basketball excellence in the 50s, and the Jayhawk Juco conference has ALWAYS been one of the most competitive in the nation. The record that Ontjes has compiled at HCC is remarkable, in the face of, as I remarked, very tough competition.

I agree with an earlier poster on another thread that Ontjes probably can do better than assistant coach on Sherri's staff. I'd say that he is ready for a head coaching job somewhere at the next level.

KU may consider Ontjes if they decide to make a change in the next couple of years.

I'd love to have him at OU in either program.

In my opinion KSU would have been a lot better off if they would have hired Ontjes rather than Jeff Mittie.

If you do a Crystal Robinson search, you'll see someone recommended her to be an asst coach two or three years ago on here (patting myself on the back)
