We have some players coming back from injuries, a few freshmen joining the team, and some returning starters.

Which one player are you most interested in seeing on the court this fall?

I'm going with Shaya Kellogg.

Can she work herself into the rotation at the 4/mobile 4 position.
This move allows Kaylon to play minutes at 5. Reduces the stress on
Griffin/Kaylon to have to do all the interior work.

I have a long list:
1 - Gibbs just because I am curious and there was so little information out on her.
2 - Kaylon and Maddie with them coming off injuries and I have hopes that one or both will be difference makers during their career.
3 - Nicole K as I think she will make a big leap in production this year and be an important swing player at both the 3 and the 4.

Because I think rebounding will be key to any success we have, I'm pulling for Durrett because I know she likes to mix it up, is tough and willing under the basket and a good athlete. I'm hoping last year was enough to get her accustomed to this level of play.

Definitely agree with this!

Since I have seen Derica and Gioya play, I want to see some one I haven't seen. I want to see the future in Peyton, and the now with Shaya. I am curious to see if Shaya can add to our rebounding needs. I also want to see what we have to look forward to when Miss Little comes available next season.

Looking forward to seeing:

Maddie and how she has recovered and where she plays.

Kellog -- because God knows we need her to come out big, strong and effective out of the gate.

Little -- she could give us another 3-point killer to take the pressure of AE and Hook.

Gibbs -- because you just have to see WTH Sheri was thinking.

I want to see Kaylon and how well she does after her injury. She was really coming on the last part of her freshman year. If she comes back strong, it will make our front line so much stronger.

I've watched this thread since its inception, and I have no answer. I am intensely interested in Maddie's recovery and state of mind since I see her as the potential superstar.

We have to have Kaylon or Shaya step up, or maybe Nicole Kornet in a big way. We need a rebounder with Griffin.

I'm watching for a shooter to develop along with Aaryn and Maddie: maybe Derica or Gioya.

Gibbs just fascinates me on general principle.

All true. I guess like every new year the questions are there and grow in proportion to our interest. The closer we watch , the more questions there are.

Derica and Gioya were both good scorers in high school so both girls should be able to shoot well. How much playing time they get will likely depend on the other parts of their game such as ball-handling, defense, passing skills, basketball IQ, etc. What I like about them is, they should offer good depth even if they are never starters.

Shaya is interesting because she has a D-1 body right now. She also brings several questions such as shooting, defense, rebounding, etc.

The reason I don't think our freshmen will get much playing time is because they have experienced players in front of them. They also need time to learn the system and adjust to D-1 ball. I think it is likely Sherri will bring them along slowly, unless one or two just happens to be outstanding. It is interesting that Sherri is packing the roster with bodies this year. I'm sure she is trying to have plenty of depth to survive a string of season ending injuries like last year.

The reason I picked Maddie is because we only got to see a glimpse of her before she was injured. That was enough to pique my interest with her overall athleticism, passing, length, etc. She is one girl who could possibly become an all-conference player. My biggest question about her is, can she shoot a good percentage from BTA.
