I thought Whitney did a very credible job in her 1st post-game analysis. She was articulate and felt at ease both with the camera and her fellow announcer, Wendell Barnhouse. I was especially impressed with Barnhouse. It's not easy developing an interview for 10 minutes or so. I don't know if he had a producer in his ear or not, but the entire interview/analysis moved along easily with no dead spots or uncomfortable moments. He managed to juggle stats, analysis, and intelligent questions to hand off to Whitney. Whitney spent just the right amount of time in her answers before handing it back. She also has good eye contact with the camera and Barnhouse. It really helps to have someone who has met on the court head-to-head with most of the players she was commenting about. Good job !!!

About the only criticism was that I don't think Whitney has an announcer's voice. Don't know if it was too high or what, but it just didn't seem like a typical analyst.

It should be interesting tomorrow night when she has to comment on the performance of her teammates.

I noticed she had on her uniform and had basketball shoes on...what's the story?

Evidently they give her time off to be with her team. Injured or not, she's still part of the squad.

She changed after the game and was able to be a commentator after the OU postgame news conference.

After a game like that, I would think it would take a little time to compose yourself.
