I cried when Jake Delhomme was signed.

I like flying ninja kicks to spectators of sporting events. Indifferent towards Manchester United.

And to continue the theme of this thread, I am going to assume you are a Man U fan?

And a Dallas Cowboy fan?

Lakers fan?

Italian National Soccer Team fan?

Ya, who would root for a team that consistently plays w/ a high BB IQ, has good team chemistry, gives effort on D, shows good teamwork on O, is coached by one of the best coaches in the history of the game (who happens to be active in charity organizations and has served the country both in the military and as an Olympic coach), and has one of the highest gradutation rates in the country (90% under Coach K). This board has been in an uproar over the past several months over the state of our program and college BB as a whole. Most of the complaints come down to players not playing the way Duke (and MSU, Butler) consistently plays, year in year out. Coach K (and Izzo) does the things that most posters have been critical of Capel for not doing: recruit players that will put the team/winning first and getting good BB players to not act like primma donnas. Oh, I forgot, they look like douche bags on TV - screw 'em.

I am going for Butler because their coach is like 15.

So, Duke is what would happen if Tim Tebow cloned himself a bunch of times and got really good at basketball.

Stewart Mandel wrote a good article about Duke yesterday on cnnsi.com.

He had some valid points, this really isn't your typical Duke team which draws a lot of hatred.

Is it still ok to dislike Duke just because you dislike Duke?

He did bring up some good points, but his defense of Scheyer was a reach: Scheyer acted like a punk in the Baylor game; intentionally throwing his elbow at one of the Baylor defenders during a tie-up and then walking away with a smirk on his face was very Laettener-esque.
