Who is going to play Center in 2010-2011?

So you mean very few NBA type 5s. Sure. There aren't many NBA type 5s in the NBA. I don't have a problem calling a 6-9 wide body a college center if he plays the 5 in college.

Speaking of wide bodies in the NBA, I was watching Dejaun Blair the other night own the boards against Dallas, a team with legit #5s. Give me a big who can and is willing to get the dang ball and we'll be fine. It sounds to me like the JUCO we're bringing in, C.J. Washington (13 rpg), might fit the bill just fine.

So tired of the height = position debate. It's really not relevant in college basketball when you see alot of forwards and centers around the 6'6 area.

If OSU can pull off a tournament team in Ford's first year with Moses as the only true post who got a lot of time, it is entirely possible to win in the Big 12 with the size we have.

Tisdale was about 6-9 and was a 4 in the NBA, Same with King. Wiley was 6-5. If you look at OU's history there have been very few true 5s in there.
Billy used to laugh when told that Wayman measured t 6'7 1/2 in the NBA which measures barefoot.Billy said he don't play barefoot.Put shoes on him and he is 6'8 1/2 and that gets rounded up to 6'9.Fallier,David Johnson were both around 6'7-6'8 and 250,typical of his CENTERS.
