We talked about a leading scorer but I see rebounding as an important issue. Who do you think leads the team in rebouding?

I say Osby with 8 boards a game. We need M'Baye to average 7 and Fitzgerald to average 6. If we can get 21 boards out of our post players, that would be a big improvement.

I think Osby is the easy choice. Fitz isn't a rebounder. M'Baye will be on the perimeter a lot. Osby is a warrior inside.

Osby led the team in rebounding last season. I see no reason to believe that will change.

to me it is key that OU rebound better as a team. There is nothing wrong with a team effort if it is effective. Having a Blake Griffin type to get every board is great but it is not the only way to rebound effectively.

There is really no reason NOT to be a good rebounding team if you aren't running on offense. I know we all expect to run a bit more this year, but we'll still have a few guys that aren't "runners", so I think we're still a year away from playing the style that LK may want to fully employ.

Osby is the easy pick here. He led the team in rebounds last season and I think he will again. My hope is that Bennett and M'Baye can be pretty good rebounders. It would be nice to have 3 of our 4 bigs be good rebounders. I still think Fitz is a good rebounder is some match-ups, but you can't expect consistent rebounding from him. If those things work out rebounding could be a strength. For now, I am expecting us to be a pretty average rebounding team with Osby leading the way.
