Why do we miss on so much in state talent

We actually do pretty well on recruiting in state kids that don't go to top programs.

I wonder how the Pokes feel on this subject with their own recruiting... they have done nothing with some mcd all-american talent recently. Admittedly, so have we

I think on in-state recruiting... at least in terms of the "big time" recruits... the feeling is that we don't ever get them.

I'm not talking about the "high level" guys like Muenelo... I'm talking about the elite level, McDonald's AA types. I think if you look back over the past 30 years or so, all of the McD AAs from Oklahoma have either gone out of state to an elite program or gone to OU.

Shea Seals was a player that I wished OU would have got as well.

Yeah -- I was REALLY hoping he would go to OSU. I don't recall exactly, but it seems like his recruiting came down to OSU and TU.
