He is lucky to be 5'10" and both games we have locked on him Most of the time a 6'4" guy and noone leaves him and the bigs help and leave their guy and screens. Having those bigger guards, which alot of teams don't have, really make him NOT see the basket well.

He Harden flops EVERY TIME HE DRIVES. Makes an annoying grunt as well.

Since he is not tall or overly quick, we've done a really good job at switching defenders on him around the perimeter in both. He always has someone on him, and like you said, usually someone much taller forcing him to not shoot or have to shoot over someone.....that isn't his strength.

Exactly. Other teams have not switched like us and he is able to get off that 3 from very deep and be accurate against many of those teams. We don't let him get stationary because of our switching.

The reason we can effectively guard Forte so well is because we have a stockpile of athletic guards, and OSU has nobody else that can hurt us. So we don't have any problem switching everything and keeping someone on him out to 30 feet.

The height of our defenders helps, for sure. So does LK going all out to stop Forte. Great defensive game plan. Same as in Norman. Over play Forte, give others some open looks, and watch them miss way more than they make.

Aside from a handful of possessions in the 1st half, we defended him great tonight.

I honestly respect Forte's game. He hustles. I thought his 4 steals shows he plays both offense and defense. I think he is a good player but we did a good job on him. Between Buddy, Isaiah, and Booker we had someone on him all game.

I do admit he kicks his legs out and draws a lot of fouls.

Defending Oklahoma State just isn't that hard. Nash is a talented, but foul-prone head case, and Forte is basically a one trick pony. Deadly shooter, but he does little else. Although I'll admit he's become a more well-rounded player this year.

After that, it's mostly garbage. Hickey is a woeful offensive player and is their third leading scorer.

There's a reason they haven't topped 70 in a conference game...
