Why were the an announcers talking up ford

I don't get why sports announcers always talk up coaches. Don't they realize that influencing people to keep crappy coaches keeps others from getting shot? Why not just say the truth. With the exception of Marcus as ate time at OSU the program has gone in three wrong direction under Ford. Those are facts.

I will be in the minority, but I thought Ford did a great job last night. They are playing without their Buddy Hield, Isaiah Cousins and last night even their version of Ryan Spangler.

In hoops you lose your two best players it's tough.

Now his antics on the sidelines are embarrassing and I can see why he got tossed from his son's basketball game, but I thought he did a nice job last night with what he had.

I don't disagree with this statement but he has not performed well at OSU. He landed one outstanding recruit that overcame his coaching. Other than that, the team has gone backwards every year during his tenure with this being the worst yet.
