Why?

This team has the best all round players of the Moser era. So far there individual pieces are better than their sum. The exact opposite of what you want. As for their record, they have had 3 games, including 2 conference games where they played well enough to win if we shoot the three ball just normally (particularly pack). So, there are lots of issues with the team where they need to get better, but record wise, we would be actually be better or similar to his other teams with just a little better outside shooting.

The above being said, I get the point of this thread. There does seem to be something missing from this team. Overall, there doesn't seem to be the urgency and effort we normally see. But, maybe it is something else. Like you suggest, it is hard to put your finger on it, but there is just something missing.

Frustrating losses will happen ni the course of a long season, especially against top 10 teams. The Sooner women finished fourth in the SEC last year, won the Big 12 in 2024, shared the Big 12 title in ’23 and finished fourth in the Big 12 in ’22. They've had success at a level Moser can only dream of. His stink should in no way be rubbed off on her because of a brief skid.
I'd be the last guy that would say this, but in all honesty, I swear 1000%, i would let the girls coach coach this team over Loser Moser

she definitely gets her players to 'buy in' to what she's trying to do, whereas Moser just doesn't past a certain point. Is that on him? is it a thing with men's basketball more than women's? I know he's been given more than his allotted chances to prove what he can do. Unless this men's team goes on a run of some magical proportions i just don't think they'll make the tournament again, and with the 4 talented players he brought in this season from the portal, there's just no reason why they shouldn't be a tourney team. This one is on him, no matter which way you look at it.

Not only that, her team actually has an identity. They have a plan. There’s something to buy in to. Moser has none of that.
