Wichita States Ron Baker proves inaccuracy of recruiting rankings

This guy can play and he was a 0 star (or not ranked) by Scout and a few other recruiting services. He chose WSU over UALR and South Dakota State. He may be the best player on the floor in this game. Not the most talented but he's very talented.

No, he does not "prove the inaccuracy of recruiting rankings"... he "proves" that there are always exceptions at each end of the distribution curve.

Some 5-stars become busts and some 1- or 2- (or 0-) star players become stars.

But all things being equal, there is a much, much better chance that 5- and 4-star recruits will end up being the best players, just like there is a much, much better chance that a 1- or 2-star player will NOT end up being a star.

Wait until we get to the Final Four and take a peek at the rosters of the teams that are left.

I'm willing to bet that they will be full of 5- and 4-star recruits.
