I don't really think it will, with the exception possibly being some negative recruiting on the women's side.

I think there's a realistic chance they get the death penalty in football, which in turn make it a realistic possiblity that they are booted from the Big XII.

That athletic program is about to be nuked from orbit.

It could affect their ability to continue to have questionable recruiting practices. When people are watching your school it is much harder to get away with as much or even try.

DON'T TEASE ME!!! :ez-roll:

Kick them out of the Big 12 and bring in:

South Florida
Central Florida
BYU
Houston

Big 12
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Kansas
Kansas State
Iowa State
Texas
Texas Tech
Houston
South Florida
Central Florida
BYU
West Virginia

The thought tends to make one giddy, huh tycat? :ez-laugh:

You got that right! You'd thought this religious organization would have learned after Dave Bliss. WRONG! Inexcusable! Penn State II! SMH!

No. More. Texas. Schools. EVERRRRRRRRRRRR!!! That is the big problem with Big 12. They allowed whorn to bring in all these votes and support for themselves and their agenda. Cougar High adds NO ADDITIONAL MARKET!

Kicking out Baylor and adding Houston is like pushing undo and then redo in Microsoft word.

I am adamantly against adding more Texas schools.. but this pathetic conference needs meat on the bones.. add em and anyone else we can or preferably, leave this crap for big 10 or the $ec (breaks my heart to say that) and throw rocks at all the morons who let our 4 teams leave..

Actually, I forgot TCU, so remove Houston entirely. The only adds would then be BYU, Central Florida, and South Florida. Makes 12.

Big 12
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State

Texas Tech
TCU

I would have agreed with this (except BYU - no more private church schools either! :)) a few months ago but the Big 12 can't get (or I don't think so) any Power 5 schools that would strengthen and increase revenue for conference. Adding schools just for the sake of adding teams will dilute and weaken revenues thus weakening all the schools.

as much as that sounds nice...there is no way in today's society that will happen. Just because of jobs, future games, etc.

Guess, not sure if you were joking or not..

This wont cause any more harm to the BBall program than bliss did.

If Baylor's football program goes back to the basement, where they belong, it might hurt the basketball programs financially but it wouldn't be immediate.

Excellent point. Briles has discovered the spotlight is nice but it also will reveal your methods and the true character of your program.

This will affect all of Baylor's programs ... football obviously the most. It will hurt enrollment and donations also. Time will tell how much.

So....who said the football and basketball off-seasons are boring?;)

Not sure it has immediate effect unless the Drew crew has been harbors get rapists too.

Yes and given how female students were treated the girls sports may find it harder to recruit. If blame makes in higher than the football program the dreaded institutional control could hit everything. I thought the death penalty was for repeat offenders within 5 years so I don't see that happening.
