Will OSU lose tonight?

Reminds me of what you used to see on this board during the past two seasons. Grasping for any signs of progress and deluding ourselves

Yeah, this is correct. I remember when I was really pumped about OU beating N.C. Central in OT last year. OSU is going 4-14 at best in Big XII play this year.

I thought Cobbins actually looked halfway decent out there for the first time all year.

OSU has become the OU program under Jeff Capel, only Ford hasn't been lucky enough to recruit a Blake Griffin yet. Aside from Griffin, nearly identical paths.

It'll end the same way too.

As much as you want it to be that way, you're pretty far off.

Hmmmm, I remember OU getting beat by 30 again, usual night... Team was awful. Jeff Capel was well on his way to another losing season without the best player to ever play at OU and a global superstar (Blake Griffin), and we had a fan make a thread about how Capel had entered Elite Status as a coach, lol.

No $3,000 payment controversies. Ford still has solid talent lined up, Capel did not.

The $3k amounted to nothing. We were on probation, and STILL received only a slap on the hand. That should show you how little the NCAA thought about it.

As for the talent issue, I'm guessing OU has as many top 150 recruits as OSU next year. The fact that LK has come in and won games so quickly proves there was SOME talent left behind. And talent or not, if Ford needs double overtime to beat a terrible SMU team, it doesn't matter how he recruits.

Heard a few rumblings regarding one of your players. We will see if anything materializes (where is TMZ when you need them).

TMG, Tiny Gallon, Steven Pledger, Andrew Fitzgerald, Cam Clark, TJ Taylor, and Calvin Newell were all "top talent."

So an OSU fan brings up the $3,000 payment to Tiny Gallon to defend his own putrid team?

/weak

I mean, Hart Lee Dykes wouldn't have crossed the street for $3,000, amirite?

haha

But they weren't lined up. They were already on the team. If Capel had a 5 star, top 10 recruit signed last November, do you think they would have been a bit more hesitant in firing him?
