When I watch teams like that play, I realize just how far off this OU team is from top 5 or so status. Both of those teams have a minimum of 2-3 players I'd take over anybody currently on the OU roster.

Dekker was a 5 star recruit ranked 13 in the nation who committed to Wisky as a sophomore.

If we want to get better we have to start landing higher caliber recruits. There's only so much you can do without one or two legit elite go to guys to finish out games. That's the reason we lost so many close games. No closer.

The officials tried to make a circus of this game. They called way too many fouls and every time Arizona went inside. Where in the rule book does it say that if someone backs into you the foul should be on you. where does it say that when someone initiates contact by jumping into you the foul is on the defensive player.

For me that's why that loss hurt so bad last night - You see these top tier teams play and the level is a step above us right now. With that said we had a chance because of the seeding and the way the bracket played out to make a run to an Elite 8/Final 4 without going up against any of the monsters. Nobody remembers who you played to get there but they do remember how far you got.

Exactly. We definitely could have competed with MSU and Louisville. Not sure we have the horses to genuinely give a Duke/Gonzaga/Wisky/UK team a scare, but a Final Four birth is a Final Four birth.
