Wnba/ou

I haven't wished anyone bad. Just commented on the fact that Paris was let go because Cambage wanted to come back, and now they have to ask Courtney back because Cambage can't play.

The first game CP3 returns they win. Sooners = #WINNING

Actually, they had Paris back because they had three injured players. Williams returned to practice today, and Paris was waived again. It's a shame, really. She was better than more than a few of the players on the team, IMO.

She had to be cut because her was on a 10 day contact; she might have done enough to get make another roster.

Is the WNBA supported financially by the NBA? If not do any of the teams make any profit? Don't some players play overseas as well as the WNBA? Playing 12 months a year would seem to wear a person out.

Several or most players do play overseas. Courtney and Ashley have done very well in Israel, Turkey, Belarus, etc... and have made good money. Leah Rush has played all over including Australia and done well.

As far as the NBA goes, I know they have supported in the past, and probably still do. I really don't know what teams show a profit and which do not. I am sure some one on the board can help me out with that one.

Three, apparently, but I don't think the league cited which three.

If I had to take a stab in the dark, I would guess Connecticut Sun (who were profitable in 2011), San Antonio Silver Stars (who were profitable in 2011) and... Minnesota Lynx, who a very reputable source said was valued at $4.

Kayla Pedersen was traded to the Connecticut Sun today after the Tulsa Shock's victory over the Chicago Sky. Fingers crossed that Tulsa picks up Courtney Paris.

Roster Update: Shock have re-signed Courtney Paris. She is expected to be in Tulsa today & will play tomorrow night against @seattlestorm.

Good news, hope she can finish out the season and be a very good contributor.
