Woodard Preseason Honorable Mention

I think he's got a shot to do better than that.

I like that chip on the shoulder attitude. No preseason hype. Let's go!

Is there an award for most improved??
If, Christian James would be my vote.

Christian would definitely have gotten my vote last year. The improvement he made from the beginning to the end of the season was very impressive.

If that trend continues, he could be in the running for a spot at some level on this year's all Big 12 team.

is the big 12 that stacked at the pg position? I would have guessed he would be higher

I think it was a case of Jordan not getting the respect he deserves. Buddy's impact last year was so dominant (and Isaiah to a lesser degree), their performance overshadowed Woodard's contribution to some extent.

It's different now. This is Jordan's team, and it's his chance to shine. It won't be easy because he'll be the focus of a lot of attention defensively. But I think he has a good chance of finishing the season higher than honorable mention.

Iowa State's Montee Morris is the projected POY but I don't see it. He's good but he's not that good.

So, you have Morris, and both dudes at KU (Graham and the kid who looks like Freddy Munster).

Can't forget about juwan evans at OSU. Probably will be the highest pg drafted in the conference.

Montee Morris is really, really good.
