Woodard selected in D-League draft

It's actually called the G League this year, presumably from Gatorade's corporate sponsorship. Woodard was selected in the 3rd round by Texas which I believe is the Mavericks team. Don't know how their draft works but it looked like a bunch of free agent guys that didn't play summer league or go to an NBA training camp in preseason. At least he has an opportunity if he wants it and has recovered enough to give it a shot.

"Legends" strikes me as something of an overstatement for a D- ... er, G-League team, but here's wishing Jordan all the best!

Will be interesting to see what he does. He'd make way more money in Europe, but I can understand the desire to stay stateside.
