Word of the day: Induction

If anyone would like to watch it is on espn3/ watch ESPN at 6:00

I'm guessing most on here appreciate everything Coach Coale has accomplished at OU. There is just concern that the program is in a slump. And it's hard to see what is happening to make it improve. I would guess that every one here would love to see Coale and the program bounce back.

+1

I had a little difficulty discerning words as the sound echoed off of the walls of the auditorium. It was a gracious speech in which she thanked a lot of people, although only one player by name, a senior in her first year at OU, Tina Taylor? Apparently, it meant something to Sherri to have a senior stick with her through a 5-22 year. There were several players there, and I did see Stacey Dales, but they were not mentioned by name. She did recognize the group as a whole.

I think she also thanked the members of the team that refused to give up the program when it was cancelled, and she thanked them by name. She recognized Jan Ross and spoke of her staff. She also talked about the coaches in the Big Twelve from whom she had learned in 1996, Sharp, Conradt, etc.

She is now a Hall of Fame coach.

We hear this everyday on this forum. It really wasn't necessary to add it to this celebration thread unless you just felt the need to poop a bit on Sherri's honor.

As someone who's known Sherri for 31 years, I can honestly say I really appreciated the nice words from Jody Conradt and Marsha Sharp. They were the big coaching stars of the original Big 12. And I think both of those ladies know what makes Sherri tick, and a lot more so than the naysayers over here.

NM as mentioned above we all appreciate all Coach has done.

Everything is awesome. No need for concern.

I'll go back into hiding.
