But I'm going to try.

From the pregame show when the Star Wars characters took the court (led by Vader)...

...to their dance-off during one of the timeouts...

...to the Stormtroopers and Vader proudly standing next to Joe C. during one timeout as he presented an award to a former player...

...to the guy who played Chewbacca sitting in the front row under the goal (with a light sabre cane) and at one point banging his hand on the table to make more noise during a defensive stand in the second half...

...it was truly a glorious day!

Here's hoping this becomes a tradition.

OU is 1-0 on Star Wars Day. That dominance needs to continue.

It was so God-awful that I actually enjoyed it somewhat. And, hey, if it continues, I can just reuse my signs that I brought today!

The Star Wars characters need to have a dance off against the Norman Fire Fighters.

lol, it was glorious. As 23 said, words can't describe it.

By far the funniest thing for me was the presentation to the former player. Congratulations, you've been a player and season ticket holder for 20 years and you get to take a picture with Joe C, Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper.

Ridiculous.

You didn't have me fooled for a minute with your glowing appraisal. I saw part of the performance on television.

Embarassing is the word I would use. :facepalm

The worst part for me was watching Vader sword fight with the Horse Pigs, then start hugging and walk off the court. Who came up with that?

That was fabulous, and that's the part I have video for. Hopefully it turned out well, though I doubt it's very high quality. Actually you can say the same thing for that "entrance".

I wonder how weird it was for our players and coaches that they had to run past a bunch of 40 year old men who live in their mom's basement dressed in movie garb while our team was making their intro before a Big 12 men's basketball game.

Yep. :ez-laugh:

And then late in the game they honored the members of the 1956-57 team or close to that year. They asked them to stand up, and they were scattered throughout the arena. Meanwhile, the guy who played Chewbacca in Star Wars was sitting front and center next to Castiglione. :ez-laugh:

They played loose, maybe it helped...haha.

Lame

Embarrassing
Nerdy
Nonsensical
Moronic
Ludicrous

ETC, ETC

Star Wars day was intended to appeal to ages 12 and under so unless you guys are 12 and under, you aren't the intended audience.

The only thing that would have made it better is if pre-game Vader would have pulled his mask off to reveal himself as Top Daug
