that this offense would attract a lot of kids? Open, fast, the ball is shared by everyone, AND coach shows a propensity to really use his freshmen a lot.

or does that even matter to them anymore???
 
Well, looking at how talented the guys Kruger has brought in are, I'd say it is working.
 
I've thought the same thing. Run, run, run. Score points... The Coach of the Year thing can't hurt either.. And the new Headington Hall should be a great advantage too. Reel em in Lon.
 
I agree about the arena. If Grandstaff had watched us rock UT in front of insane crowd on "senior day," it would have helped our chances quite a bit.
 
Unfortunately, in regards to the tempo thing, a lot of teams are playing that way today. Just in the Big 12 conference alone, I'd say KU, ISU, Baylor, OSU, and probably UT (maybe not as much recently), along with OU, all play offenses that would be fun for guards.
 
Oklahoma and Iowa State are the only big 12 teams with a tempo ranked in the top 50 of tempo.
