UConn just lost their leading scorer off the bench, Brianna Banks (7 ppg) to an ACL and LSU's Jeanne Kenney (starting guard) was just carried off the court with the strong likelihood of another ACL injury. It seems like there are a lot more ACL injuries all over the country this year versus any year I can remember!

You might want to edit the title of this thread before someone has a heart attack thinking you are talking about one of our players! ;)

I read in this morning's paper the Silver Stars may be without Sophia Young for the 2013 season, as she tore her right ACL during the Women's Chinese Basketball Association playoffs last week. The injury was confirmed by MRI in San Antonio and surgery is scheduled this week. There goes their leading scorer (16.3 ppg), top rebounder (7.2 rpg) and leader in steals (2.2 pg). Hopefully, DRob can help them with some of those things, but I also hope they have a couple of other players who can step up.

Gonna be difficult to replace Sophia. Tangela Smith will prolly replace her or even D Adams neither is sufficient. DRob will prolly get more playing time w itch Hammon getting up there in years. Should be an interesting season but I prolly won't make a game this year without Sophia on the court.
