Wrestling & Gymnastics

That's weakness. We can't even get our primary schools to generate enough programs?

I did notice that we had a Big Twelve champion wrestler that wasn't even invited to nationals. There was a time when that's all it took to be the favorite.

Well, to be fair, the other Big 12 schools have other sports OU doesn't. OSU has equestrian (they dominate), Texas has swimming and diving (they dominate), and so on. So OU has it's quirky sport (gymnastics, which they dominate), and the rest of the Big 12 teams do, as well.

OK. I looked it up. OSU, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Baylor, and TCU have equestrian teams. Maybe they should form a league of their own while we go to the Big Ten.

I guess they didn't feel the need to add softball programs.

Big 12 presently has 7 softball teams if they add any the best option would be Louisiana Lafayette. Good geographic school and great softball program. If they are looking to add more to get to 10 schools Tulsa, Troy and Louisiana Monroe would be good options.

The question is would any of the above schools have an interest if a change involved only their softball program.
