Xavier should suspend its coach. Any coach who allows his players to use the "zip em up" motto is either A) totally disconnected from his players or B) Not the type of coach you want running your program.

As those wonderful college students at Xavier explained, they have a lot of "gangstas" on their team, and NO ONE comes into their house after talking trash on Twitter (forgot that was part of the hardcore gangster life) and gets out without being roughed up! I think they represented that fine University perfectly, so I can see why the admin was so excited to put them in front of the media. They really replaced Sean Miller with a quality Head Coach to mold some fine men!

I really love Kruger more and more after watching what else is out there and what they allow as acceptable behavior.

There will be a lot of Ciny players out for 5 to 10 games or maybe the season. The one on the bench that did all the talking early on will be gone for at least 5 games because he help start it.

Obviously, you've never been to XU...while it may be in one of the rougher parts of Cincinnati, XU is a beautiful school and a pretty good school academically...generally, it's UC that's had the thug moniker...

At this point the entire Cincy bench rushes the floor and starts throwing sucker punches.

What the Xavier players said in the post game was perfectly fine. Said you don't talk smack before the game, that they were going to protect their court, that is somebody puts their hand in your face you do something about it. All true in the real world.

No it wasn't. They should have said we disgraced the sport by being involved in that situation. They should have said, we made a mistake by losing our temper after Cinci did X. They should have said they were sorry.

Wanting to be a gangster, thug, tough guy, etc. is BS. Be a real man by acting like an adult and accepting responsibility for your role in a bad situation. Be a leader to the kids from your neighborhood that want out of that lifestyle but perhaps don't have the athletic ability to get a scholarship. Stand up and say how stupid it all is, there is a better way and if the situation arises again, I am going to be strong enough to walk away.

I am not suggesting any person get hit. But fighting in sports is just unacceptable. Bench clearing brawls are unacceptable. It takes two for things like this to occur.

Well now, a second amendment flag waver. I have have a carry permit. It isn't unusual for me to be in close proximity to a loaded weapon.

But, the real reason everyday normal people would want to carry, isn't because of some fear of the criminal element. The greatest threat comes from the right wing conservative gun nuts.
