Your all time Sooner Hoops team:

If it's college only, then I'm not putting anyone on my first team who played less than two years. As such, I will go with Mookie over Trae. For the off-guard position, it's really close between Buddy and Hollis...can't imagine going wrong with either. Wayman, Alvan and Blake are fairly easy choices unless one of the three frontcourt selections has to go to a small forward. I would then go with Ryan Minor for that position.

Only listing players I got to truly watch...which eliminates Mookie, Wayman, Alvan, Stacey, and a slew of others. The Ryan Minor era, if you will, was when I really began to know what I was watching.

Trae Young
Buddy Hield
Ryan Minor
Eduardo Najera
Blake Griffin

6th man - Corey Brewer

Corey Brewer
Buddy
Nate Erdmann
Ryan Minor
Blake Griffin

Sixth man - Najera

Honorary - Nolan Johnson

I wasn’t around for 80s, so I’m leaving off some great ones.

I get that this is subjective, but I'd be interested in understanding why you would pick Corey Brewer or Nate Erdmann over Hollis Price.

That’s what I grew up on. Also, Corey and Nate had better college stats and longer pro careers than Hollis.

Which is not a knock on Hollis, he’s an all-timer.

All name team:

Nate Erdmann
Ernie Abercrombie
Hootie Wiley
Mookie Blaylock
Longar Longar

Bench:
Kevin Bookout
Tiiny Gallon
Ebi Ere

Ern-ie, AberrrrrrrrrCROOOOMMMMMMBIEEEEEEEE

Besides the obvious ones already mentioned, some guys I enjoyed watching growing up in the late 70s, 80s, early 90s:

John McCullough
Terry Stotts
Chucky Barnett
David Little
Tim McCalister
Choo Kennedy
Anthony Bowie
Harvey Grant
Stacey King
Skeeter Henry
Jeff Webster
Terry Evans
TMac one of, maybe even THE, most underrated or at least overlooked great Sooners of all time.

Not saying he was the best but doesn’t get talked about enough. Really could have been even greater with an earlier 3 pt line.

This is me building a team that I think can win, that I would enjoy watching.

Only people I got to watch:

Q. White
H. Price
Erdmann
R. Minor
J. Brown

Tough to leave off Najera and Brewer. Nearly just listed the 2002 team, as I think that team was built nearly perfectly.

We all see the usual suspects each time. I like those that throw out the McCalisters and Corey Brewers of the world. Lets do a 1st- 4th team and maybe an honorable mention. lol

Blake Johnston/John Ontjes
Tim Heskett/Austin Reaves
Ryan Minor/Nate Erdmann
Brady Manek
Kevin Bookout

In all seriousness, I love me some Tim Heskett.

i will base this on who i can really remember watching play for OU and for more than 1 season
PG. Quannas White/Corey Brewer
SG. Hollis Price/Buddy Hield
F. Ryan Minor/Nate Erdmann
F. Ernie Abercrombie /Eduardo Najera
F. Blake Griffin/Aaron McGhee

I’m definitely on the younger side when it comes to this board, so I’ll keep things simple and on the more recent side of OU bball for mine

G: Trae Young
G: Jeremiah Fears
G: Buddy Hield
F: Blake Griffin
F: Ryan Spangler

6th: Brady Manek

I’ll be honest, I wanted to throw Isaiah Cousins in here too but couldn’t put him above Fears
