Like I said. KJ transferred to get playing time. And she got what she wanted elsewhere.
Because she wasn’t good enough to play for us.

Ok thats cool.
The people with the seats behind mine just bitch about the players constantly. Im like, why do you even come if you don’t like the players or don’t like the coaches. Same as on here. Chavez is ruining the program? The coach that took a 12-12 team and made them a 25-9 team with the same players in year one, that has not missed a tournament and just went to back to back sweet 16 are ruining the program? I don’t know what your expectations are but I’m pretty pleased with the program at the moment. I don’t like losing players, especially players like Zya but that just the age we are in now.
We can all never complain again if we keep our roster. I’ll eat crow. And I like all the girls, which is why it hurts. Including Chavez, who did need to be held accountable. Nothing wrong with acknowledging the truth.

Are they starters? Or are they role players?
Notre Dame lost Olivia Miles last season. No one screamed for Ivey’s head that I recall. I think USC lost a starter or two after JuJu’s freshman year. Van Lith left Louisville. UNC is losing a starting guard who average 10 points - Lanie Grant.

I don’t think she needs fired at all. I think she needs to make adjustments to attract who they need and keep who we have. We don’t have the roster to lose like others do. Apparently, we’re not in the worst spot Roster wise. Could be Tennessee.

And since she was mentioned, Reyna is in the portal again. I have no inside information, nothing from the "horses mouth" but two ball dominant point guards may have trouble co existing, wish her well hope she finds a place to be happy. I mean Zya, not Reyna, although I wish the same for her I liked her a lot when she was here
No she’s not. She has no eligibility left. From the “horse’s mouth.”
I have never called for Jennie's job. But I also think OU has a Sweet 16 ceiling right now, and unless she gets more disciplined and also attracts an athletic big who can both score and defend, we will always have that same ceiling.

IMO, we definitely need to add I would say a solid four transfers now. I don't think losing Vann is really a huge deal because you could tell every now and again she just checked out mentally during games. I'm not saying she isn't talented, but you just never knew what you were going to get with her. I would prefer someone that has a little more consistency than her anyway. If you don't like a player you play with that's fine, but leave that stuff off the court and make it work. I think that what was lacking this season and that is why we didn't take that next step forward, internal chemistry issues which definitely held us back. I think JB has the goods to take this team to an elite eight but we will see what she does in the portal. If she doesn't bring in real portal talent again this year then I think it could be a lack of nil or the fact that people just don't want to play with Chavez, which is baffling to me.
