Hello my friend,

Well today should keep this board hopping for a few days. I have a source inside the Presidents office that has said that a number of "very big" donors were not going to give any support with Capel in charge even for another year. Money Talks!

With all of this now it will be interesting to see who comes in behind Capel and if he can salvage a recruiting class.

Take care of yourself, I have been under the weather for the past 3 months but they have found the problem and I am coming back strong as an "old" bull or is it goat.

IMO, mps is abusing her power as a board moderator. I have been a Sooner fan all my life and particularly a Sooner wcbb fan ever since Sherri was hired. I believe mps gives my posts a more scrutiny than is needed and she has pretty much removed any desire on my part to post at all. I know of several other posters that feel similarly. SoonerNorm was the best moderator we've ever had and I know from from experience on other boards that "Tony" who I believe mainly posts on the men's board is another very good moderator. IMO, mps is NOT! This may fall on deaf ears, but it's JMO . . . . .

I'm assuming my post wasn't acceptable? Just checking cuz it never came up on the board.

LOL! I have an excuse for forgetting to tell you about that, Gator. I'm old, and my memory is bad. I'm just glad it worked.

Ada: It worked like a charm - if you have to give the same info to someone else who isn't as brilliant as I am, add that you have to sign off and come back in for the change to take effect. It only took me 3 minutes to figure it out but more info is a good thing to have - GRIN

I have the same problem when I use the newest OUHoops front page banner. It's frustrating to have to scroll to the left to read everything or to access some of the board's features, so I know exactly what you're going through.

I fixed it by changing to the "Old" front page banner. Here's how to do it: Go to the bottom left of a forum page and you'll see a window with a drop down menu. Click on "Old Banner Wide" to change the banner you'll see when you log on, and you should be good to go. If not, let me know and I will forward your message to someone with more technical know-how than I've got to offer.

It drives me crazy that the horizontal is not scalable! I can't fit the entire width on the screen. This is the ONLY style of message board I visit which does not scale horizontally and it is a pain in the patootie to have to move the display to the right every time I want to be able to see who the poster is. Is there a preference setting someplace that I haven't found which would solve the problem? Or is the software developer just too dumb/lazy/inept to make this forum friendly for Safari users?

ADA, is it permissible for any admin to contact our commits and get their reactions to the NCAA tournament and their plans for the summer, expectations at OU, etc, etc, etc???

Seriously, there is an element that is making this board unbearable to read. I'm sorry, I'm an OU "fan" that is disappointed in the season, but my god, there are three or four posters that are killing every thread on here. Every single one.

How the heck are you guys doing. We are headed to OU tomorrow for a leadership conference then on to Dallas/Ft worth to see grandkids and their parents. I'll talk with you when I get home in a week.

All I pointed out is that I woldn't send my child to play for Cal until he has as many legit final 4 appearances as ill-legit, maybe at Mr Lamb's expense? Reasonable observation from a Dad's point of view, isn't it? Other than that, an EEL would feel at home at UK.
