This will likely become the pattern for practice updates, some quick notes for the stuff on the day of, then every three days or so a nicer detailed report up on the home page.

These will likely be just more detailed, less autocorrected version of my tweets from practice.

M'Baye is good, I will likely be saying this every practice. Blocking shots, going coast to coast, cleaning the glass, knocking down jumpers, just looks amazing.

Clark had a good practice, knocking down mid range Js like usual but added in some good shooting from deep. Also was assertive off the dribble, a few acrobatic finishes and one tough "And 1" finish through M'Baye.

Fitz was active on offense during the 5 on 5 session, knocking down Js, doing work around the hoop.

After an off day yesterday shooting wise, Pledger picked it back up and shot well again.

The Norman high basketball team was there, along with various small college coaches. Kruger is really reaching out to the community.

I know it is WAY early.....but as good as M'Baye has looked, it sounds like he'll be too good to come off the bench next year. Do you agree with that? And if so, based on his game, and your knowledge of the roster makeup next year, where do you see him starting, and alongside what other players? We're getting crowded at that the SF/under-sized PF positions. Seems like our best players are all best suited to play there.

So refreshing to see stuff like this.

I couldn't agree more. Coach Kruger is a master at promoting the program and connecting with fans. It's easy to see why he has been successful at every stop he's made

I think you could see Clark (6-6), Osby (6-8) and M'Baye (6-9) on the floor together a lot.

PG: Blair/Grooms
Wing: Clark
F: Osby
F: M'Baye
C: Fitz/Arent

or

PG: Blair/Grooms
SG: Pledger
SF: Clark
PF: Osby
PF: M'Baye

unless something has changed it won't be this year for sure... M'Baye has to sit this year.

M'Baye will start next season if practice is any indication and I don't think he fits in the under sized PF. He's the second tallest player on the team and is solidly in the 6'8/6'9 range. If he gets stronger, I think he has the motor to pull off playing the 5 some as well at the college level.

I guess it comes down to rather you want Cam or Fitz coming off the bench. Because I don't think we'll bench Pledger. That is a tough call to make.

Even just having him on the scout team will make us better this year. That makes me smile!
