Down 37-31 at half. We just look a little unfocused today. Tough mental spot after the emotional wins over Texas and Baylor. Taylor with 11 to lead us. Madi picked up 2 fouls in Q1 and didn’t play in Q2. Need to get refocused at half.
 
Tied up at 59 at the end of three.

19 turnovers...and poor free throw percentage.....8-14, 57%. Hope they don't mean the difference.

59-59 at end of Q3. We were down 12 but then found our intensity and got it tied. Madi being back for the quarter made a difference. 4 in double figures taylir 14, Vann 12, Madi and Kelbie 10 each.
 
The players on this team have simply decided that they lost too many times in the past few years and they refuse to do it anymore. Absolutely unbelievable. There is something so special about this team. BOOMER!!!!!

Ugly game.....but the women found a way to win!!!

WV had a great game except for their turnovers. Great FT % and 3%.

Great win. This team defies every coaching adage. Can’t rebound, can’t defend, can’t shoot free throws and they turn the ball over too much. All they do is win

Taylor Robertson is amazing
 
Congratulations girls...That one was a tough one, but you all pulled it out. Now.. Go rest and recuperate....You deserve it....
 
I am sure the snow trip to Baylor and them having to play again on Saturday took its toll on our team but we still pulled it off. That really helps now as we have a week to get settled and prepare to go to Austin.
 
We did not play our A game today but hung in and made just enough plays to win. Key stats were 20 steals and 13-28 from 3. We get our mini break with no mid week game before we play in Austin next Saturday.

The NCAA does one of the top 16 reveals on Thursday and I expect us to be a 4 seed in that reveal. That would be some good recognition for us.

It seems to me that we were not connecting the way we normally do. We struggled in offensive sets but did well when we were pushing it fast. Maybe we were over thinking it.

But one of the most significant stats is on Liz Scott. In the first game she had 5 fouls, in this one she only had one. Liz Scott had only one foul in a double OT game. That tells me she was working super hard to not foul. That may have been why she seemed a little off. But this is a good thing I think. She will settle into that not fouling mindset and will only get better. Her presence on defense is crucial for us.
