#18 OU vs West Va 3pm 2/5

Ugly game for us. Sometimes it is a little hard to live with success. After knocking off Texas and Baylor we probably began to think we are a little better than we are.

Clearly rushing and shooting too many forced shots and missing too many through rushing the shot. Think we were below 50% on layups at one time.

Also West Virginia was unduly hot and also took advantage of our size inside better than most teams other than K-State. We will see more of that rather than less in future games. We must keep strong outside pressure to make it difficult for them to get the ball inside.

Good to win but of the seven games left we could lose as many as 5 if we play like we did today.

I worried about a letdown after the Baylor win at home, but it didn't happen.

I worried about a letdown after the Texas win at home, but it didn't happen.

I felt there was a little bit of a letdown today, but they still managed to pull out a win.

Their next game is February 12th. A full week without games couldn't come at a better time.
