2010 Recruiting Troubles- for Kansas and Kentucky?

Both UK and KU are in some serious recruiting troubles.



You must of been reading my comments about HOW bad UK Calicats recruiting efforts are presently going. (Zag blog)

In addition, the Kansas "Gangster U" recruiting is also in similar troubles.


REMEMBER: The fall out of UK Calicats and KU will be a positive impact to OU.
(This is why it is being discussed.)


A few days ago, I provided some forthcoming insight into the TROUBLEs with UK Calicats recruiting. (Zag.)
And the UK fans are getting more concerned.
As of today, UK staff is scrambling and making contact with NEW potential recruits. Another illustration that UK Calicat are in major recruiting troubles.


Kansas is EVEN worse shape than UK.
At least UK has Poole.
This must be one of KU worst recruiting efforts in years?


Lets see how Kansas and Kentucky play out.

If B.Knight goes to Floridia....then, UK and KU will be battling for Josh S.
Most likely , Josh S. will go to UK (with the help of www).
So, KU is OUT, again.

KU has LOST some major recruiting battles:
Barnes,Irving,CoryJ.,Terrence Jones ,Lamb and Knight.....Wow.:clap

Kentucky in more trouble than KU. KU has alot of guys coming back. Chances are they'll split Lamb, Shelby, CJ Leslie, and Knight. That aint bad. Matter fact its pretty great.

You must agree ...it is going very poorly.
The most obvious is the Barnes decision.
NOT choosing KU (and Barnes is in Kansas backyard.)

The less talent at KU ...makes OU better.



Let me share on Kentucky Calicats.


Why is Kentucky having a horrible recruiting Fall period?

One word...Josh Pastner.

Pastner has already secured the commitments of three five star players: Will Barton, Joe Jackson, and Jelan Kendrick.

He also secured the commitment of four star recruit Chris Crawford.


Memphis is currently on track to have the number one or two recruiting class of 2010.

UK was seriously recruiting Barton, Jackson, and Kendrick before they eventually signed with Memphis.


Pastner gave Cali a TKO.


BUT REMEMBER: UK Calicats have an ACE in the hole.
When will UK use www?

You should have seen Phog net this time last year.....you'd have thought Bill wasn't bringing in anyone. Then come this year and it was a top 5 or so class. People crack me up. It's a spring/summer timeframe anymore before you know what your class is going to look like. A lot of the big names just sign late. And I would too.

Getting ready to hear some more BAD NEWS for Kentucky Calicats.


A big recruiting battle is about finished: Harris:


Most believe that it is between: Kentucky and the Orange

(WV was elminated.)

If I was a betting man, I would go with the Orange.



What does this mean to Kentucky Calicats? Major recruiting troubles continue.
Another recruit goes elsewhere.


ANOTHER MAJOR RECRUITING LOSS.



That leaves: Josh S. or Knight and CJ Leslie as MUST gets for Cali.
Hopefully, www can assist.

Well, more BAD NEWS for Kansas.


athletic director Lew Perkins met with the entire football team. The coach, who has been dogged by anger issues during his eight seasons at Kansas, met briefly with Perkins on Tuesday but neither would elaborate.


Mangino said. "I may have lost some people around here but it's not players."


If figured it is related to ALL that fighting between the basketball team and football team- KU.
