He will play the majority of his time there. The height is good. But OSU lacks the low post scoring and rebounding. Them playing Nash at the 4 made no sense to me b/c he would catch the ball at 15 foot or beyond and either drive to the hole or take a jump shot. That sounds like a 3 to me. But why not have him at the 3. It would have given them more height, more rebounding, and more defense. And Nash shooting over a guard has to be easier than shooting over a post player.

If Hammonds plays the same way Nash does and doesn't post up then OSU will still continue to have rebounding and post issues.

Nash is an excellent 15 foot jump shooter. You don't have too shoot 3's to be a sf.

C: Jernard Jarreau/Anthony Allen

Pretty solid squad if Jarreau gives them 10/6 and Evans is legit.

Didn't they have him at the 3 position the 3 previous years and all he did was lay bricks? The guy can't shoot from beyond the arc so he was a small 4.

When they had him at the 3 and played 2 post players, they had the best season under Ford.

And again, you don't have to be a great 3point shooter to play the 3. His 15 foot jump shot is better than most.

Kansas got a commitment today from LaGerald Vick(6'5 Fr SG). As of right now he is a 2016 commit but there is a good possibility he will reclassify to 2015 in the next couple of weeks. I will add him to the list if/when he reclassifies to 2015.

Oklahoma State added a player yesterday. Chris Oliver(6'8 RS/Sr PF). He transferred from Eastern Illinois where he averaged 13.0 ppg/5.3 rpg/1.4 bpg. He will be immediately eligible as a graduate transfer.

Kansas added a player today. Mississippi transfer Dwight Coleby(6'9 Jr C). He will redshirt this season per transfer rules and play in the 16-17 season as a RS/Jr. He averaged 5.4 ppg/4.8 rpg as a So at Mississippi during the 2014-15 season.
