Both Wayman and Blake had "big-time offers" coming out of high school, and they did what I think was the right thing. And it really worked out well for both of them at OU, too.

Someone can refresh my aging memory, but didn't Vitale practically recruit Tisdale for Georgetown (unsuccessfully)? V wasn't exactly a Tubbs guy back in '82.
