2015 Allonzo Trier

I think we are going to have to have a special season next year to have a chance at landing him.

He will almost certainly sign somewhere before we have the chance to have any kind of season.

Maybe so a lot of hype and a strong non-conference would be a must.

Insider... Anyone care to fill us in..

ESPN pay article about him today, talking about how amazing he was last weekend.

Lists offers from a ton of basketball elite, with even more knocking on his door, just haven't offered yet. The article mentioned 14 schools by name, then said "and others" when talking about offers. OU wasn't listed by name, but it wasn't a direct quote either, so the writer may have lumped OU in with the others.

Gonna be REALLY tough to pull this kid away from the power schools.

Not much more to say. Just talking about how well he has played, how is stock is elevating, and mentioned the schools I listed above. The article was also half about Jalen Adams.

Thanks! Sorry I missed that!

His list is endless. But being mentioned by name is a good thing.

Thanks for the update, Coach!

Trier is obviously the kind of recruit nearly every school in the country will be after before he's through. We can only hope the opportunity to be a star close to home at OU, where is his family can be at courtside for every game, will appeal more to him than the allure of playing at one of the so-called elite schools.

I keep hoping that some of these stud players from in-state will approach the chance to play for OU kind of like Robert Griffin did his offer from Baylor. He wanted to help build a program and make a name that way.

That's the selling point. Don't be another star at xyz... Be a legend like tisdale, Blake...

Any word on how his unofficial went this weekend??
