Rivals has him listed as 6'3", 185. Cousins is listed at 6'4", 187. Plus Pritchard is taller than Woodard, so I don't think it would be a drastic change in size.

Size amongst guards is overrated. I'd rather not have them all be short, but nothing wrong with starting a couple of 6'-6'3 kids, and a slightly bigger 3. Most of OU's best guards over the years haven't been all that big.

Yes, that's the one. Scout has him as a four star as well. Shows he has offers from OU, Notre Dame, Virginia and Georgetown, among others.

wow... this would be an absolute steal this late. He can definitely shoot. Pairing him with Pritchard would be lethal in a couple years, especially if our bigs develop to make the defense sag.

That appears to be the case. Gibbs is listed as a PG on some sites and a SG on others. He and Pritchard could be really good together. Payton is a pure PG, but I see no reason why he couldn't swing to the two if need be. Might turn out to be the best of both worlds for OU.

Michigan St. does this sort of thing all the time. They usually have 2 combo guards who aren't really pigeonholed into being the 1 or the 2 and either can play either spot if needed. We see that this year with Trice taking over at the 1 when Tum Tum is struggling or becoming the shooter when Tum Tum plays.

Yep and the one that was a long term NBA starting pg was not the OU starting pg

Hopefully both. If Buddy returns, we will have 4 seniors (Buddy, Cousins, Spangler, and Walker) plus Booker's spot to replace. Also, I don't know when CJ Cole graduates and goes to medical school….. on a fast track to graduate.

That's a lot of shoes to fill so it's important to bring in some players who can handle early playing time (e.g. Pritchard). I also hope we have a banner class because it seems like we're getting better kids every year now that Kruger and staff have settled in.

With that many open scholarships, it might be a good year to add a transfer or juco player so that we don't have half the team to replace in the same year.
