2025-26 Season

He just responded to a post about the Gonzaga player getting an extra year due in part to missing two years following a heart attack by saying it’s bad for the sport and dismissively saying “life isn’t fair.” In other words, totally unsympathetic to the athlete. But apparently he is all for the athlete when it comes to privacy and not disclosing injuries. Maybe I misunderstood and he has some other reason for being on board with teams not discussing injuries. Personally, I’ve always thought it’s ridiculous how tight lipped college coaches are when it comes to that stuff. I know they might cite privacy, but more often than not, I think they are just paranoid. Pro teams have to disclose what the injury is on the injury report, and yet they manage to survive.
Ah lol ok…

FYI, the Nebraska game is now showing up on the Big Ten Network schedule (not BTN+). It might join in progress because a football game begins at 2:30, and we know the 3 hr 30 min football window can be just a suggestion sometimes.

How good are the zags this year? I can’t say I am expecting a win this weekend.

The consensus is that they are good but not as good as usual. Most projections were consistent with where they are in the polls, so somewhere in that 20-25 range.

For what it's worth, the Zags are ranked 21st in the AP poll--three spots ahead of Wisconsin and 11 behind Texas Tech.

12-1 heading into conference play.

10-8 in conference play.

22-9. Hopium is high.
