When I ask for better coaching, that is what I'm asking for. I know Houston has some talent, and those players certainly made some plays down the stretch, but don't think Kelvin's culture and adjustments didn't impact that game either.

Kelvin didn't win that game by how he coached the team tonight. He won it by how he coached them all season. And last season. And the 9 seasons before that.

I get what you are saying, but I wouldn't care if he wore a zebra costume, if he was winning. Since he isn't winning, everything he does is looked at critically.

Win something, suck less, and fans will be way less critical.

I’ve never heard of Houston having a culture wall, but even if they do, that is the difference. Porter talks about his non-stop with limited results, while Kelvin did an entire interview on changing Houston’s culture and didn’t mention it once.

At some point over the past few days I heard a talking head say that Kelvin has lost fewer players to the portal than most teams. I think that's huge in this day and age. It takes more than one season to develop a player and to build great team chemistry. I think a lot of teams are finding that out these days.

it’s phony if you have a culture wall but no actual culture. And are you sure they actually have a wall? At his press conference Friday, he actually talked about the fact that there facility has very few mottos printed or hanging.
