2025 Portal Moser Commit #3 Xzayvier Brown

With Brown, 247 has us listed as the 12th best portal class. Only one other team with 3 players is above us (Louisville). Our per-player average ranking is 95, which puts us in 6th overall. On paper, this is a really strong portal class. We'll see how Porter puts it together on the floor.

I'm most excited about this guy. Then pack. Then kai rogers. Than tae davis.

We did. 1988. My favorite coach of all time, Billy Tubbs, pulled off the press in the second half of the Championship game and quit going inside to get Manning out of the game, or we win in a blowout. In the years after 1988, heard billy say on several occasions that those 2 decisions cost him/ou a national championship.

For those of you that are too young to have been around and following OU in 1988, you wouldn't believe how good Mookie Blaylock was, and you wouldn't believe how good our frontcourt was with Harvey Grant and Stacy KIng (both first round picks and played for years in the NBA). We had a wing by the name of Seiger (6'7) that could play a little in and out and could really shoot the ball. He had 7 3s in the first half of the Championship game. Really good point in Ricky Grace and some decent bench players. We had the best full court press since the UCLA teams in the 60s. Crazy fun watching that team.

We killed teams with our full court press. Had rim protectors in Grant and King, and one of the best man defenders that ever laced up a tennis shoe in Mookie Blaylock. Offensively, we could score inside with Grant and King, all of our perimeter guys could shoot the ball, and grace and mookie could take you off the dribble unless you were really athletic. Probably one of the best team ever assembled that didn't win a national championship. Really special

I was born in '88. It's crazy to think how much different our program's path would have been if we had won this one.. ku only had 1 natty at the time.. if we had won it, maybe we become the true blueblood and have 4 natty now.. kills me to think about
