Iowa State is #1, OSU #9, and OU #10 in the nation in scoring offense. Should be a fun year!

I'm still in shock that OU is averaging better than 88 ppg through the first two games. That's 18 ppg more than the little over 70 ppg average we had last year.

I remember a discussion before the season started when some of us were wondering where our points would come from this year. And, why not? With 48 of the 70 points Osby, Pledger, M'Baye, Fitz and Grooms (69%) no longer around, who could have imagined that OU would be in the top ten nationally in scoring offense? I sure didn't.

No doubt about that. I am shocked, and pleased.

We are ranked #59 in Kenpom as of this morning, but we had the 3rd worst "Adjusted Defense Rating" of the Top 75 teams in his rankings. We are regressing on that end of the floor....sigh.
