Against Iowa State, our guards shot 47 shots compared to 12 for our post players.

Posts shot 9/12 for 75%
Guards shot 15/47 for 31%

This includes a 7/28 from 3 point range

We have GOT to work the ball inside if we want to win. Bottom line. I hope Lon spends all week working on post entries and defensive walk throughs.

Once teams start ramping up the defensive pressure our bigs continually get scared off the ball - Seems almost to the point where they refuse to take a shot.

There is no way we can make a real run without them being a lot more aggressive in taking their shots and being aggressive on the offensive boards and importantly going back up with the ball. I am tired of them working hard for a rebound and their first immediate thought is throwing the ball back out to the perimeter.

We've been a jump shooting team all year. That won't change.

Somebody email those stats to the basketball office.
