Kentucky will be without their 3rd-leading scorer, senior forward Teoni Key, due to an elbow injury. I hope JB and staff studied the film footage of what Alabama did to them because IMO this is a must win game against them today, in order to maintain our projected seed and ranking. Otherwise, we're going into two big games against LSU and South Carolina on a two-game losing streak...

It's also a matter of respect. We have yet to beat a quality opponent this season, outside of A ranked OSU, at the time, and a mediocre NC State.

Good start so far 17-11 lead after 1st. We aren't exactly playing amazing but we are not playing like poop either. Kentucky looks a little slower and softer than Ole Miss did. From what I've seen so far we should win this game but you just never know...

Our team is so difficult to watch. I mean a 14-point lead is erased in about 1 minute of play. We either throw the ball away or forget to guard someone and Kentucky is right back in it and has momentum. Tied game at halftime. Watching Texas play LSU and then flipping back to our game and it's like day and night. We can't beat Kentucky there's no way on Earth we are beating LSU let alone South carolina. Some tough truths will be learned out of this I suppose. I wonder what happened to Culliton to where she has not improved one iota in four seasons?

34-34 at half. Combination of some ill advised shots and Kentucky getting hot from 3 let them get back in the game. Chavez and Verhulst with 9 and Beers with 8…part of what happened was Beers getting 2 fouls so she only played 11 minutes in the first half.
