1 of 15 from three will not keep a team that relies heavily on making shots from the perimeter in a game, much less give them a chance to win.

We're just not a good team. Period. Our best post player, Fitzgerald, can score but can't rebound. C. J. can rebound (he had 6 in 12 minutes) but can't score. Add the fact that our best "shooters" from the perimeter couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, and that's a recipe for a disastrous outcome.

On the positive side, though, I thought our kids competed hard. They didn't always make good decisions or good plays. But they tried their best and didn't give up. That, and Drew's performance on offense, are two positives I took from the game.
 
Apparently a random fan at the game that could not even get the ball to the rim on his first three attempts shot a similar 7% from three point range in a halftime contest. In fact he may have shot better because he did make two 3s.
