Good win....TCU is a quality team. We shot the 3 well and Trae was magnificent (minus the TOs) even though I felt like our energy on defense was lacking pretty much all day. We can play so much better thus, it feels good to get out with a win without our best effort.
Trae needs to return until he can average 0 turnovers and shoot 100% on free throws in Big 12 play.
I feel like I'm critical of Lattin too often, but it's so frustrating to see him miss layups at the rim and constantly fumble the ball and get stripped when he should be going up strong and throwing the defender's wrist through the rim. He's a good shot blocker, but what else does he do well?
What is the word on 6-11 Hannas Polla from Finland? Redshirting? Is he a project, or will he contribute next year?
Well, to answer your question, he fires up the crowd...and that's something we're going to miss next year. The crowd feeds off his energy, whether he's blocking shots or making hand gestures to get them off their feet. All teams need those types of energy players. Finally, he mostly takes high-percentage shots (even if he misses his fair share)...and he's dramatically improved his free throws, at least as of late.
Play of the game might have been when Trae fouled out Brodziansky

Yes, great win!
Just saw the interview with Rayford Young. When will he accept that his son is at OU and loves it? It seems like he always has to say or hint that he wanted Trae to go somewhere else or some place better. We get it Rayford, move on dude!
