Been a lot of whining about certain things that have happened to OU basketball of late. We've blown a couple of leads. We've had some scoring droughts. Well, osu is a fairly good ball team, and they blew a 20-something point lead last night, and turned around today and only scored two points in the first 8 minutes of the game. If you look around the country, that stuff is happening all over the place. Syracuse and Gtown played an overtime game today where both teams failed to reach 60 points, even with overtimes, and Cuse blew a double digit lead in the second half. Duke lost to a pretty bad Maryland team, and couldn't defend to save their lives. Michigan, a likely 2 or 3 seed, lost and didn't even reach 60 points. Not sure why OU fans lock on to what happens at OU, and act like it doesn't happen across the country. The difference in OU and those teams is that OU doesn't have the talent yet to overcome the "bad" times. But even good teams blow leads, lose games they shouldn't, and have scoring droughts.
Also, before the osu/KSU game, that was the most terribly boring game of basket-pong that I've ever seen. Geez. And the Big 12 Conference, for all they money they are passing out to member teams, needs to improve their television network. Twice tonight I've been sent to commercials during the middle of the game.
That is all.
