A&M camp

you have to wonder why these girls are traveling seven hours to go to another major university basketball camp, when there isn't one in their own backyard. Something is wrong with this situation.

ok Mr Banjo, here is a new thought for you. It sure is nice for the local girls to get to go hang out with a NC winning girl's coach and a local star in Courtney Walker. I bet those girls are having the times of their life and building some great relationships down in Texas.

Romulus "Sherri can't even keep the great instate girls home," have you figured out yet what state Chelsea or Ana are from?

I think he really means that We are letting Too many instate talented girls
Get away from home. It's nice to sign a few here and there but we are loosing recruiting battles to Top 10 programs.

I guess the two Oklahoma stars who got away recently were Walker and Washington? I'm probably missing someone but they are both 5'8" guards. Sure it would be nice to have them but that isn't where the problem (not counting ACL's) lies.

Every state loses some of its prospects, if not a majority. Oklahoma doesn't produce that many, and we haven't had anyone like Dungee or Llanusa in years. We lost some to Duke and UConn back when. We lost someone to Tennessee. Walker hasn't won anything yet. I have more regret at losing Gant, and there was a reason for that. But, everyone loses some. Wonder how California feels about losing the Paris twins, Abi, DRob, etc.? Texas lost a bunch to Stanford, UCLA, USC, and Rutgers. Oklahomans don't belong to OU, Texans don't belong to UT, and even Connecticut girls don't belong to UConn.

Which Oklahomans did we lose who were better than Courtney, Ashley, Amanda, Abi, and Danielle? Someone lost them? ---to us.

Keep in mind, other schools will continue to recruit those girls just as they did Courtney Walker. I sincerely hope they don't change their mind and decide to go somewhere else but, it isn't a done deal until they actually sign on the dotted line.

I could be Missing a few But that is A Lot of talent that has
Left the state of Oklahoma in just that last couple years.
You all have to remember The state of ok is not that
Big so I would work twice as hard to keep Atleast 3 or 4 Ok players on the roster.
Sherri has gotten better in recruiting Ok Players cause she see's them making
An impact else where but I still think She doesn't try to hard enough. It's kind of like "Just come play for me, it's your home state and I'm Sheri Coale type attitude". That's just my opinion.

And I will never forget the Mayberry story who Waited and Waited for an OU offer but never got one, I'm sure she isn't the only one on this list who felt that way.

Now, which of those girls was better than those we have brought in---Courtney, Ashley, etc.? Who could we not live without?

everyone cant come to OU so I'm not surprised that kids are going out of state to other camps. I noticed that Aaliyah Wilson Muskogee 2016 is at Texas this weekend, but since shes a guard theirs really not much room at OU for her. So lets say she stays a top 30 player in her class we still have Dungee and Llanusa, who basically play the same position.

I'm just trying to follow along. But, I'm getting lost again. Let me see if I have got it. None of the good players that have left the state recently are as good as Courtney Paris. Therefore, Sherri is a great recruiter and nothing is wrong with recruiting in general. Is that the story line?

I took you off Ignore to give you another chance based on your practice reports. But, this is not adding to the discussion and is simply an attempt to provoke an argument. Back to Ignore.

What's with you, gary? Did sybarite steal your girlfriend or something? Bring facetious is one thing, but being ridiculous is something else entirely.
