Foster is a 2013 6 foot 2 guard out of Wichita Falls Hirschi, AAU teammate of Kendall Harris with the Dallas Mustangs will visit per TexasHoops.com.

Per Dal. Mustangs coach @gdbooker, 2013 #HSBB guards Kendal Harris & Marcus Foster will visit OU this weekend. #txhshoops #AAU

Really good athlete but still a little raw. Kind of like Nino Jackson was last year in that regard.

Depending on how you count it, it will be his third unofficial to Norman. He took a visit this past June on his own then was at OU's team camp with his high school squad as well.

Thanks for the update, Sam!

Found this tidbit about Foster from an article ESPN ran last summer:

Standout players

Marcus Foster (Wichita Falls, Texas/Hirschi)
2013, PG, 6-foot-0, 155 pounds | AAU team: Dallas Mustangs
He is a very skilled, athletic scoring point guard who has a quick first step and plays with great pace. Foster can score in a variety of ways and has a knack for getting the ball to open teammates. He has the ability to receive the outlet pass and be at the rim in an instant. He also can knock down mid-range, pull-up jumpers and 3s off the catch. Foster likes to advance the ball down the floor to a teammate ahead of the pack and is also an excellent penetrator who can kick when he draws multiple defenders. This young guard has a bright future if he continues to improve.

Looks like a really good get if Kruger can close the deal in the next couple of years. But if this list of suitors on Scout.com continues to show an interest in this kid, it will not be easy:

The ESPN scouting report is off on Foster in my opinion. Like Sam said he is raw. I see him more as a two guard than a pg. He's about 6'2 and has A LOT of bounce. The kid jumps out the gym. He is a very nice slasher that loves going baseline and can finish on the other side of the basket. Vocally he is a leader with very good body language on the court and he is constantly talking with his young teammates. His jumper must continue to develop. I understand it has been a weakness, but he has put in tremendous work with it. His game reminds me of Nino Jackson and James Woodard's game somewhat.

His high school coach, Don Hedge assisted Sam and I with our first OKhoops.com exposure event and will bring Foster to the September 10th event at Bixby High School, a good chance to see him against Oklahoma talent. OU hasn't offered Foster yet but is very close to my understanding. Arizona State has already offered him a scholly in 2013. At the end of the day, I feel this kid ends up a top 150 talent nationally over some of the smaller guards who are getting recognition now.
