Alex Miller of Claremore commits to OSU???

Hasn't been updated since the 24th, and the OSU team camps were like two weeks ago. Can't imagine this being true. Maybe an offer to be a walk on or something, would be my guess.
 
Yeah, I don't know about the credibility of the site or of the guy with the info. Seemed to be interesting though. OSU got a commit last year from Brian Williams out of one of their camps so it may not be too far offbase.
 
OSU brought in a bigtime AAU team from Louisiana, they were all fresh and soph... Claremore kid went off for about 40pts. I heard OSU offered after that game... I heard the kid is really a good kid.
 
If the kid did get an offer based on his performance, that's a great story. As far as Brantley, the guy who runs the site, his site doesn't look like the most professional site in the world, but he's a guy who is at all the events when you talk about bigtime AAU tourneys and college camps.

Interesting. Your board didn't know anything about the kid till I posted it, so I would take that with a grain of salt. Also, if the kid had a showing like it is said he had, he may be worthy of a D1 scholarship and no one is going to turn a D1 or D2 scholarship to go to OSU. Who knows though? I haven't heard of the kid. If he plays in Tulsa this week I'll check him out.

I believe ORU is hard after him...
 
He is more of an oru guy not an osu guy. I have seen him play several times

If he is in fact a walk on then it's a great pick up for OSU. Always nice to have a lower D I prospect as a walk on.

This is what I believe. However, as we've saw recently, it's not a huge stretch for an ORU type recruit to get a high major offer. Chris Washington was going to be ORU's prize recruit. Nick Thompson committed to Weber State out of high school. Carl Blair transferred from New Orleans. The Graham brother transferred from Central Florida. Matt Pilgrim transferred from Hampton. It's not as big a difference in talent level as we think sometimes.

July 3rd, a guy asked about it and a couple of guys said that he was a walk on and not on scholarship.

Which makes sense given the visitors that OSU has had recently I wouldn't think that there would be a scholly for the Claremore kid yet.

I think i made mention on the osu board the 2nd. doesn't matter though.
