FT's are gonna continue to be a problem with him. He just looks stiff up there as he does when he shoots jumpers. Form looks ok however so hopefully it comes together eventually.

Only thing you worry about with Griff is injuries, the way he plays 82 games is a long, long time. You have to almost expect him to only play around 60 games at the pace that he does.

Exciting no ? Tomorrow we get to see John Wall in action, has to have been a long, long time since we had so much hype for 2 kids to play their 1st NBA games and both are going to be the real deal.

Anyway we'll see how long this Yao Ming only plays 24 minutes stuff lasts.

So let the Blake vs Gasol comparisons start tonight. Let's go Blake, you need to put up 44 combined points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks & get the W. I think he's going to get it done.

And Blake put up 39 combined Points, Rebounds, assists, and steals. So are you gonna man up and admit that RIGHT NOW Blake is not better than Gasol. In a couple of years I think he will be but not RIGHT NOW, he is still a rookie.

What we should be doing is comparing Griffin and Gasol as rookies. Gasol averaged 17.6, 8.9, and 2.1 blocks as a rookie. Griffin looks like he's on his way to eclipsing that for sure, at least the rebounds for sure.

Oh I agree with that, and I agree that in the End if he stays healthy that Blake will have better career numbers than Gasol. I just said it was foolish to compare the two for 2010-2011, when Blake is a Rookie and Gasol is in his 11th season in the NBA

In Blake Griffin's first NBA game he exceeded Pau Gasol's career averages in:

Points 20 > 18.8
FG % 57.1 > 52.1
Rebounds 14> 9
Assists 4 > 3.2

And he did this vs a top tier team with Camby and Aldridge inside. Wait until he plays scrub teams with weak inside games.

He is the second best player in LA. Period. No contest.
