Ana Llanusa

I just watched 2 of Choctaw's games on the OKPREPS TV site.

Against PC West she scored around 25. Something like 2-2 from behind the arc and a number of one on one drives on the break. One with a reverse to get free. She also hit 2 or 3 mid range jumpers.

Against Enid she didn't score as much. Enid slowed the game down a lot and she missed part of the game with fouls. I think she had 12-15 points. Missed the only treys I saw her shoot. But I didn't watch the whole game.

She is very smooth and quick. Very good court vision. Plays point some and her passes are sharp and accurate. Good at penetrating and dish and appears to be very unselfish. Moves her feet well on defense. Only saw her lose the ball once on drives. Usually is very much under control and doesn't rush things.

She doesn't rebound much for her size. Something to work on as well as a need to use screens to get open. Choctaw seems to do nothing to get her open for shots.

Her game against Putnam City was very similar to one I saw her play last summer.

I think we will like her a lot.

I forgot to mention that on one drive, a defender was in front of the basket so Ana made a 360 spin around her and scored. Pretty sweet move for a young player.

Ana speed is what stands out to me she is so athletic!!! I like watching her play!!!

Ana's brother is the quarterback for Choctaw. Good athletic genes in that family.

Choctaw falls to SouthMoore. Llanusa had a hard time getting started.
Fouled out finished with about 12 or 13points.
Will play Johnson and Edmond Santa Fe tomorrow at 4:00 for 3rd place.
