Andre Miller does not like Blake Griffin

How is Blake not a blue collar worker? How is Duncan not one?

I don't mind AM defending his guy but he doesn't have to put down Griffin in the process.

And Tim Duncan doesn't have the numbers to support his spot on the team. Perhaps he is better, more important etc. (that is debatable) but he simply doesn't have the numbers. Duncan doesn't lead Griffin in pts, rebounds, assists, double doubles or really anything other than blocks.

Anyone that doesn't think Blake makes his shooters better and vice versa is nuts.

Why is Tim Duncan in the game over Aldridge or Love? Duncan is one of the best players in the history of the game but he's not an all star this year.

I tend to agree. Tim Duncan is great but he doesn't have the numbers this year and made the game off his past and/or "intangibles".

One other thing for Miller, Blake's numbers are bettter than Lebron's were. Blake is scoring more and has way more rebounds. Lebron had more assists but he is playing on the perimeter.

i was referring to edmond sooners post stating that blake has scored the most pts of any player this season with 47.

You can't put players in there for their past. If they did, then Shaq would be on the East roster.

Valid point.

IMO, I would have had LA from Portland over Duncan. He's been carrying his team and brings it on both ends of the floor more than Randolph and Love do.

I also think you could make an argument for Randolph being 2nd behind Aldridge, and over Love.

Bottom line: Duncan should not have been selected.

Mark Jackson questioned the selection during the Celtics v. Mavericks game last night. He was very supportive of four starters on Boston's team being selected by the coaches. I understand what he is saying but I personally disagree. The best team or best starting lineup is not necessarily composed of the best players.

Barkley on the other hand has said that Tim Duncan's selection was a lifetime achievement award. I tend to agree with Charles.

I think Blake absolutely earned his spot. It can certainly be argued that other players were left off the team that should have been on it, but I don't see you say Blake Griffin is the guy that shouldn't be on the team.
